Palatinus Lido

The reception building of Palatinus Bath, constructed in the 1930s and designed by István Janáky, is an iconic example of Hungarian modern architecture. Originally functioning as a summer changing room, the building has suffered severe structural damage over the years. The Budapest Spas and Hot Springs Company aimed to transform this listed monument into a year-round thermal bath. The reconstruction involved significant structural repairs to restore the building’s integrity and adapt it for modern use.
